So, I take it this is out of the Teisco factory. ![]() ![]() The only little speck of info I was able to track down was the following link on the VintageSilvertone website, but it ain't much: It doesn't even appear to have a proper model name, just a mysterious number: 319.14558. And, it's in completely mint condition! Literally as good as new.īut none of that changes the fact that I, or anyone around me for that matter, have no idea what this thing is. And the jazz sound you can get on the neck pickup with the tone knob dialed back is amazing. All the sounds were great from these P-90 looking single coils that actually sound closer to gold foils. This thing immediately felt like it was made for me. In those days, the more knobs and buttons a guitar had on it, the more I wanted it.Īnyway, I picked it up. There are some of the coolest volume and tone knobs I've ever seen, and they're mounted on a little pickguard island of their own. It looked very cool in that it reminded me instantly why I first fell in love with the look of an electric guitar. A few years ago I stumbled on this thing just hanging all dejected looking on the "used" wall at the Chicago Guitar Center. ![]()
