So.I just got my S4.When I tried to install the software, electricity went out and my PC turned off.now when I try to install it again, i get an error:runtime error in install: list index out of bounds (0)I cannot uninstall the 'native instruments traktor kontrol s4 driver' with the use of 'remove programs' in my windows because I get the same error.Registry cleaner didn't fix the problem.Creating another user for the pc and trying to install the software there still didn't fix the problem.Any ideas? This is kinda stupid, you buy the device and now can't even install it.

Click to expand. It's hardly NI's fault that your power went off.Actually your problem is quite common when a PC loses power during a software install. (Any software not just Traktor). While the actual symptoms may vary somewhat what has most likely happened is one or more critical system files has become corrupt. You could try running a repair using your original windows disk and see if that sorts the problem. Failing that (and if it were me this is what I would do) format the drive and start again. Probably not what you wanted to hear.I would also recommend that before you try any of this, backup all your documents, music files, etc. Anything you can't afford to lose.
